DAVID E. MACK. Passed away Friday, August 23, 2019. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Stevens) for 48 years. Cherished father of Renee Lienhard (Michael) and Natalie Delarm (Michael). Devoted grandfather of Wynter and Sundae Delarm. Loving son of the late Edward and Mary Mack and brother of the late Timothy.
David was inducted to the St. Ignatius Athletic Hall of Fame for Basketball in 2009. He won the Varsity City Championship as a Sophomore in 1965 and held the St. Ignatius scoring record for 25 years. He went on to play for Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. David graduated from Case Western Reserve Law School and had a long career as a private practice attorney, as well as an appointment as the City of Garfield Heights Law Director for nearly 30 years. He was proud of his and the Longo administration's many contributions to the City of Garfield Heights, which was his boyhood home.
Family and Friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Monday, August 26, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held at the FUNERAL HOME, Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 10:15 a.m. followed by David's Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stanislaus Church, 3649 E. 65th Street, Cleveland, OH 44105, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
