Michael J. Cimperman

Michael J. Cimperman, 67, passed away on July 20, 2021, after a battle with leukemia. A lifetime Cleveland-area resident, Mic was a dedicated son, father, brother, uncle, friend and local business owner. He will be missed by many.

Mic was predeceased by his parents, Albert Sr. and Zora Cimperman, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved son, Michael Cimperman, of whom he was extremely proud; his siblings, Albert Jr. (Patricia), Josephine (Jeffrey), Timothy, Joseph (Rhonda), and Frank (Jeanette); many nieces and nephews; a host of extended family members and too many friends to count. He was also a friend and mentor to his staff at Cimp’s Auto Repair Service (C.A.R.S.) and regularly attended St. Francis de Sales Parish in Parma and St. Basil the Great Catholic Church in Brecksville.

Mic was truly one of a kind.  He was strong-willed, tenacious, and loved a good argument - qualities that also contributed to his perseverance and positivity in the face of adversity. He had a huge heart and his generosity and commitment to his family, friends and faith were immeasurable. He was an inspiration to many and even in his last months, quick with a joke. He was an accomplished bowler, achieving a perfect 300 on several occasions. In addition, he was an avid cyclist, enjoying many long rides with his son and once even being “pulled over” for riding too fast!  He will not soon be forgotten, as his family and friends have countless stories to share.
