Walter E. Walburn

WALTER "Walt" E. WALBURN, age 79, passed away while visiting his second home in Hilton Head on October 15, 2021.  Beloved husband of Karen (nee Vassaux) for 56 years. Loving father of Kimberly Johnson (Bryan), Todd Walburn (Brennis), Brett Walburn (Lauri), and Blair Walburn (Angie).  Cherished grandfather of Kayla, Emily, Logan, Christian, Brooke, Ashleigh, and Dominick.  Dear brother of Cyndee Brooks (Bill) and Benjamin Walburn (Paula).

Walt was President and Chairman of the Board at Dar-Tech Inc. for over 50 years.  He served on the Board of Directors of American Colors for 44 years.  After his decision to step down, he was awarded Director Emeritus Status.  Walt was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.  He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, quick wit, love of nature, and kind spirit.

Family and Friends will be received at NOSEK-McCREERY FUNERAL HOME, 8150 BRECKSVILLE RD., BRECKSVILLE, OH 44141 on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. followed by Walt's Memorial Service at 12 p.m.  A Private interment was held at Brecksville Cemetery.
